  WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life!!! We are renovating a house in Bocaire Country Club, and I was looking for kitchen cabinet samples that I had previous found at distinctive kitchens. A friend of ours who lives at the Seven Bridges in Delray, referred Distinctive Kitchens. My contact was:

  When she arrived I was completely bombarded with questions such as, why would she help me if she didn’t have my kitchen plans yet. She was so rude and defensive over my asking if I can check out kitchen cabinet samples.
  
  Wow - I immediately called my husband and fumed over how rudely I was treated.
  
  I would NEVER recommend this company just over the mere way I treated when I walked in the door. I’m in shock.

  STAY AWAY! WHAT A BAD JOKE these guys are! They showed us one line of semi-custom cabinets in their showroom and installed something different of greatly inferior quality. They constantly misrepresented the construction of the cabinets. Their designer/salesperson incorrectly measured the spaces for the cabinets and blatantly lied and misrepresented the quality of their product. In fact, they incorrectly (wrong dimensions) produced the cabinets in literally every room of the house. In the kitchen, their installers ruined the cabinets and shelves. They were months behind schedule because they had to remake so many cabinets. Each time they "tried to make us happy" they screwed up and only made things worse. Then recently they told us they would not correct their mistakes because they could not meet our expectations. REALLY? When you order wood cabinets and they give you plastic laminate and you ask for what you ordered, not a cheap imitation.....? Is that an unreasonable expectation? Apparently they were great years ago, but have since lost their commitment to excellence ever since the company was sold. DON'T BECOME VICTIMS LIKE US.

  Lets start off by saying this company provides the cabinets for the largest residential builder in South Florida. "L****r". Distinctive Kitchens & Baths provided and installed the cabinets in my home. The doors on all the cabinets throughout the home were not the doors I chose from the showroom and when I brought this to the attention to the builder, they said "yes they are, and our cabinet contractor confirmed they were". Distinctive Kitchens & Baths gave the builder a letter in writing confirming they were the same cabinet. The shaker style door I chose did not have vertical seams and they were a solid one piece. The shaker cabinets installed, had vertical seams in the corners and were a 5 piece cheap door that rattled. I brought a picture of the cabinets I chose from the builders show room and a picture of the cabinets that were installed to the office of Distinctive Kitchens & Baths. You could clearly see the difference in the two BUT Distinctive Kitchens & Baths looked at me in the eyes and still told me they were the same cabinet. It was outrageous what they did. Obviously, because Distinctive Kitchen & Baths confirmed they were the same cabinet door, the builder refused to change the cabinet doors. Distinctive Kitchens & Baths is dishonest and they only wrote the confirmation letter to stay in the good graces of the builder so they wouldn't lose their contract with them. I'm sure it was the builders fault and they ordered the wrong cabinets because the entire schematic of our kitchen was incorrect too but they were forced to fix it because I had actual drawings of the kitchen and they were signed by both ourselves and the builders. This review is to show the dishonesty of a company and they don't care about the consumer. The pic I provided with the brown cabinet is what I chose for my home but in the white color. The picture with the white cabinet is the wrong cabinet they installed and Distinctive Kitchens & Baths wrote a letter confirming both these cabinets were the same.

  Worst company they have made me take off from work for installation after making appointment over a month, they used my cabinets in other projects. They are never o. time and repair work that is under warrantee will take months. If I can give them 0 stars I would.

  To echo what every other review has stated…this company is the definition of POOR PROFESSIONALISM. Their rep, Emily should NOT have a customer service job at all. Clearly, she hates her job and it shows. She calls and speaks to customers with an attitude and lacks the basics of customer service. Steer clear of this disaster of a company.
